A brand strategist who writes for pharma.
I'm a copywriter and brand strategist based in Toronto with six years of pharma agency experience across oncology, HCP education, and unbranded patient platforms. My job is strategy-led copy that lands clinically, clears regulatory review, and still reads like a person wrote it.
Currently at Havas on the AstraZeneca oncology portfolio. Previously CloudRaker (Merck Melanoma, Gardasil 9, Servier Tibsovo), Appnovation (AstraZeneca CancerSupportPlus, LVNG With), Klick (multi-brand healthcare), and Operatic.
My background is in biochemistry — MSc from the University of Toronto, BSc from Toronto Metropolitan University. It helps when the topic is a clinical trial readout, a mechanism of action, or an HCP audience that won't tolerate a single imprecise word.
How I work
- 01 Listen.
Brief, brand, clinical data, audience. Where's the misalignment — and what would actually move HCP behavior if we said it out loud?
- 02 Frame.
The strategic angle. Often a single sentence that the rest of the work hangs from — and that survives the science.
- 03 Voice.
How it sounds. What it never sounds like. Codified so the team can keep writing in it after I leave the room — and through regulatory review.
- 04 Write.
Copy that's ready to ship, not "directional." Tested against the brief, the brand, the data, and how a tired HCP at 11pm actually reads.
